I got an iskin for my wife's ipod touch. Link (http://www.iskin.com/store/i2shop_itouch.tpl)

It certainly protects the back and looks fairly good, although i think the device would look better without a case at all (but I do hear the back scratches up easily). A removable film is included for the front as well which we did apply but I don't know if that's necessary as I hear the front is fairly scratch resistant. Not available at futureshop or best buy when we checked (although they were listed as resllers on the website) but got it from a computer shop in Oakville and you can buy it online from their website as well.

I bought the Touch skin from Best Skins Ever (http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet/the-75/iPod-Touch-Skin/Detail) for $7.99. I only applied the back skin because, as you're finding, the back scratches really easily.

try considering buying one fromo invisiblesheild. It may be a but more expensive then other shields, but it's the best quality and has a life-time warrenty, so even if you screw up installing it, you can get a new one for free.

Also, I believe I saw a couple days ago, that invisible sheild is having a 50% off sale. go check out the hot deals section of the forum
