I saw Jim Gaffigan a few months back, and i wasnt even that big of a fan. But he's a big name and it was a big event. And i stumbled upon the event while looking for other tickets on Ticketmaster.

Sure we have lots of local talent at Yuk Yuk's, but still.

And Chris Rock is funny, but no way am i paying that kinda money to see him. Besides i prefer comedians like David Cross, Dave Attell, Louis C.K.

I never see any mention of these caliber of comedians in event sections.

I dunno.

I think he might be a 90's throwback.

Yeah too big.

Guys like him, or Chris Rock who sell out within minutes and charge huge prices.

I guess guys who are a level below those mainstream comics. Although David Cross might have a name because of Arrested Development.

The very first time I've seen or heard of George Carlin was on Shining Time Station. Then I saw his standup comedy act and I was immediately traumatized but I thought he was pretty funny at the same time.

Wow same thing happened to me... I saw him when I was a kid and than when I saw him doing comedy when I was older I was like wwowoowwoowowowow he's got a potty mouth. But ya I guess he's cool, and a good comedian. You learn to accept the world we know as an adult.

Oh and someone above said that Ringo Star from the beatles was on shing time station too. I didn't even remember him being on it but now that you mention it I do because he has a distinct "look". Wow... That show was good back in the day as a kid.

Artie Lang will be coming up in the near future. Lisa Lampagnelli was here a few months ago at the former Hummingbird centre and she absolutley killed. She's always killed at every roast she's been on and she's like the female version of Andrew Dice Clay.
