Prank caller on BNN

I taped tonight's Business News Network (Ch 57) and caught someone calling in live asking about YAHOO stock, then bursts out:

F U f**gat !! :D

Not too long ago, same show (Market Call), I heard someone else ask about an opinion on a stock (Nortel, I think) and then right after said: "do you like it up the :eek:$$".

I guess he was implying that if you bought Nortel, you are basically getting it up the *$$.

Well, its just a reality of LIVE call in shows. For BNN, it isn't interactive like MadMoney. So they can just switch it from LIVE to recorded calls. Since all callers say "Okay, I'll hang up and listen, thank you".

As funny as that was, it's sad to see people doing that to television programs that are there to try and provide general public with useful information. Instead of actually paying attention or changing channels people do stupid stuff like this. No wonder our society is going down the shitter.

And god forbid CRTC finds out and decides to fine them. Since this isn't the first time and I am sure not the last time, they may have to start a delay too.

that was stupid, and i won't even go as close to calling that a prank call. that was jsut a moronic, juvenille, tactless act of random schoolyard name calling. if you're going to do a prank call on bnn at least make it smart.
