found this on wiki...not sure if the actors are confirmed.

Justice League Mortal

[edit] Premise

The film is not set in the same continuity as the Batman or Superman film series. Instead, it will set up spin-offs for other Justice League members, similar to the X-Men film series.[5]

[edit] Cast

* Adam Brody as The Flash.[6]
* D. J. Cotrona as Clark Kent / Superman.[5]
* Common as John Stewart / Green Lantern.[7] Columbus Short turned down the role.[8]
* Megan Gale as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman.[6] Jessica Biel turn down the role,[9] while Mary Elizabeth Winstead auditioned. Teresa Palmer and Shannyn Sossamon were also interested, while Christina Milian, a comic book fan, offered her services for the role.[10][11]
* Armie Hammer as Bruce Wayne / Batman.[5]

Director George Miller cast younger actors because he wanted them to grow into their roles over the course of several movies.[12] This decision has received negative feedback from comic book fans on the internet.[5] Brody, Common, Gale and Hammer will have to physically train for their roles.[13]

Teresa Palmer and Hugh Keays-Byrne have been cast in unnamed roles. Aquaman and Martian Manhunter have yet to be cast.[14][12] In October 2007, roughly 40 actors and actresses auditioned for the League, among them; Joseph Cross, Michael Angarano, Max Thieriot, Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter.[12]

[edit] Production

In February 2007, Warner Bros. hired Kieran and Michele Mulroney to write a script for Justice League Mortal,[15] which they handed in that June to positive feedback from the studio.[16] George Miller signed to direct in September 2007, while the studio hoped filming would start before the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike. In addition, the studio was considering filming Justice League Mortal completely in motion capture, similar to Beowulf.[17] Barrie Osbourne will produce,[18] with a $220 million budget.[14]

Filming was supposed to start in February 2008,[19] in Australia, where post-production would also be conducted.[20] Some shooting was to take place at Sydney Heads, while local colleges were scouted.[18] But in January 2008, Warner Bros. announced the film was on indefinite hold, allowing an options lapse for the cast. The studio felt the script needed perfecting, which was impossible because of the writer's strike.[21] As soon as the strike ended, Warners wanted to start filming in mid-April 2008.[5] They are still adamant for a mid-2009 release date,[22] and hope to have filming start in mid-July 2008.[23] In February 2008 it was announced that production would go to Canada, despite Miller's wishes to keep production at Fox Studios Australia.[14] Warner Bros. still faces the possibility of a June 2008 Screen Actors Guild strike. The Mulroneys went back to rewrite the script for Warner Bros. and Miller's approval.[5] On March 19, 2008, the title Justice League Mortal was announced, and it was finally official that Australia would not be housing the production of the film. Miller explained, "A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Australian film industry is being frittered away because of very lazy thinking. They're throwing away hundreds of millions of dollars of investment that the rest of the world is competing for and, much more significantly, highly skilled creative jobs."[24]

Marit Allen was originally hired as costume designer, but she died in November 2007.[25] Weta Workshop took over costume designer, a decision which opens the possibility of their sister company, Weta Digital, doing the visual effects.[26]

Cool, can't wait for the movie. I hope they will have a good story behind it.

Director George Miller cast younger actors because he wanted them to grow into their roles over the course of several movies.[12] This decision has received negative feedback from comic book fans on the internet.[5] Brody, Common, Gale and Hammer will have to physically train for their roles.[13]

Why those comic fans give negative feedbacks? Young people should be giving a chance because older actor/actress are NOT getting any younger. Sure they have more experiences but I believe the younger generation should get a chance to show their potential. In the long run, they will replace all those older actor/actress.

This should be encourage more across all jobs/professions right now. I want to be taken care of when I am ready to retire. hehehe :D

YOu must of got your info crossed up.

from wiki and imdb.com

"The film is not set in the same continuity as the Batman or Superman film series. Instead, it will set up spin-offs for other Justice League members, similar to the X-Men film series"

What that means is that Batman and Superman will be not of the same parallel of the current and upcoming batman Dark Knight and the new Superman movie that is coming in a few years.

There can not be a Justtice League WITHOUT BATMAN OR SUPERMAN. Without them, then I dont think fans will see it.

Its like X-Men without Prof X and Magento.

More like X-Men without Wolverine and Magneto. Nobody cares about Prof X :D

Aww. Mary Elizabeth Winstead would've ruled as Wonder Woman. I think she has some resemblance to the original beauty: Linda Carter.

This movie should never, EVER be made.

Firstly, the Chris Nolan directed Batman series is STILL GOING ON and Bryan Singer is going to direct a sequel to ( yes underwhelming ) Superman Returns.

Chris Nolan had a huge enough hill to climb to make people forget the POS "movies" that Joel Schumacher made and the complete inconsistencies of Tim Burton's "Batman" movies. He did just that, and went further by creating an ACCURATE representation of Batman. Sadly, the majority of the movie-going public were too stupid to realize that Batman Begins was a complete ( and necessary ) revamp to the entire series. Now that people have finally understood Chris Nolan's Batman films have NOTHING to do with the previous heaps of rubbish, WB decides it's a good idea to confuse those same people with yet another cast of actors to portray Batman and Superman??? Ridiculous!

Secondly...look at that cast!!! Looks like Laguna Beach in tights.

This movie should have stayed in the "indefinite hold" status and should never see the light of day.

I agree that the only way they should make this movie is if they have Bale and Routh as Supes and Batman.

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are the three pillars of Justice League. If Superman and Batman are not in, then it's not a real Justice League.

Take it easy everyone. You guys don't think I don't know that Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are the core of the Justice League. This is only what I read when the writers were on strike and what they were planning on doing to make sure the current Batman and Superman franchise were not conflicting. Man, I didn't think I would stir up a few panties.

They got time to get it right.
Next year looks pretty decent for superhero sequels (unlike this summer which has a glut).
