Im in the market for an old 35mm SLR film camera. I would prefer the Pentax K1000 if possible, with the standard 50mm f/2.0 or 1.8 lens, and other lenses if possible. Would anyone know where to find such a camera, does someone have it in their basement possibly? There are some on eBay, but shipping makes them a little to expensive.

Craigslist.

I checked there but everything seem to be over priced at $125-150. Kijiji has what Im looking for, but none have the correct lens.

Post in the WTB section of pentaxforums.com . I have a 50mm f1.7mm Pentax-A I love/takes great pics but could part with if you find a body, though the lens generally goes for ~$85 or so. Pentax-M's go for cheaper as you can't control the aperture in body on the DSLR's.

You may find a camera really cheap, but there is no guarantee it works. At least if you get it from Henry's, its been tested and there is a warranty of some sort.

$100 for a camera does not seem like a lot to pay for a properly working camera.

I have a barely used Canon EOS A2e sitting here. I know it's not the Pentax you're looking for, but it's an amazing camera.

I would like $50 for it. No Lenses.

Any idea where I can find an EOS f2.0 50mm FFL lens? I happen to find a Nikon f1.8 50mm in my basement, however it uses the Nikon F mount.
