Problem finding competition on Wii games

I'm having problems finding people to play against on my Wii wi-fi games. My Wii is setup properly to my wireless router (afaik) and passes all the tests with no error codes.

However when I play any games online, I can't find anyone to play against. If I try playing strikers, the system can usually only find 1 person to play against over and over again. If I play SSBB, the game times out before it can find anyone. I can spectate however w/o problems.

I find it hard to believe there's NO ONE out there for me to play against.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'd say it's possible no one is on. Depends on when you go on as well. If you go on in the during the week there is usually less people on, even in the most popular games. If you're passing the tests and finding 1 person it sounds like it's working. A lot of the times for the less popular games you have to go on during fri/sat night.

how is it possible that there isnt even 1 person other than him wanting to play? It just doesnt make sense (to me at least) unpopular or not I still dont see how the wii of all systems doesnt have people online

its possible that no one is on at the same time as you, but still unlikely. I don't think you are having problems tho either.

From my guess, the people that bought Mario Strikers also bought Smash bros and are online for that game (and the servers don't work to well for random matches on that).

its possible that no one is on at the same time as you, but still unlikely. I don't think you are having problems tho either.

That's what I'm having a hard time figuring out. Sure I'm trying to play at weird times, but I find it hard to believe there's NO ONE out there to play SSBB.
