Hi there,
Isn't it me or Microsoft shipped Xbox360 Arcade with the wrong powerbar (for for some unknown reason, the pins to connect it to the Xbox360 PSU isn't the same as the connector itself)? WTF...

Yes, something is indeed wrong when your post makes no sense whatsoever.
What powerbar? The 360s don't ship with one. You mean the power supply?

What?

Give the guy a break, not everyone is technical. What I think he's trying to say is the power connector won't fit into the back of the console. I don't think Microsoft would of messed up, it sounds more like the Xbox you bought was previously opened and someone swapped out the newer 'falcon' console and put in there older 'non falcon' console and left the rest of the packaging untouched. Most falcon consoles come with 175w power supply which will not fit into the older 'non falcon' console. Check the label on your power supply and see if it says 175w on it. Then check the back of your xbox console and see if you have an "HDMI" port on it if it doesn't then it's a definitely an old console. If it does you should still check the manufacturer date on the back of the console and make sure it matches the "Lot#" that is listed on the box to see if your console has been swapped. This is how to decypher the Lot#, for example if your Lot# is 0802, it means the console was manufacturer in the 2nd week of 2008, which means between January 7-14. Hope that helps.

Hi there,
*lol* You guys are so evil. :) I couldn't explain it any better. Well, it was at work, for some reason, they are brand new and only opened it to check for the RROD (because someone from another store got 3 in a row of RROD), the same batch. When I tried to plug it in, the connectors doesn't fit in the console. :|

i had trouble getting the connector in when i first got mine, that was because i wasn't putting enough force, i was being too careful. I found my console (out of the box) was a REALLY tight squeeze. Do the prongs not match up or is it just not going in?

Hi there,
Well, when I took a look at the connectors, the middle have a plastic part in both connector and and the wired, so therefore, unable to plug it in. It's so ********. No wonder Arcade sucks.

Like previous poster said, check the wattage of the power brick, the newer consoles use 175w while the older ones are 203w. The bricks are not universal so 175w with an older console will not work.

Plastic part? Trying to picture what plastic part you're talking about, but I'm not sure....
if you have a digital camera, perhaps you can take a picture of it, and we can give you a better explanataion.
Maybe there's some sort of plastic on the wire that you need to remove before inserting?

Hi there,
I tried that, it's not removal. Anyways, it's all duds, so off back it goes. To be honest, it's embrassing to sell Xbox360s and hopefully they don't come back with the RROD. :|
