Has anyone seen stuff on this game?? It's coming out in June (same time as Dirt from last year?). The team that brought DiRT was behind GRID and it looks pretty sweet.

Looks like Pro Street but I hope not. Their Race Driver series were awesome so I have high hopes for this.

How did anyone like the demo? Is this a rent or buy for you?

I think this is a buy for me. The gameplay is awesome. Gotta love those crazy crashes :P

played the demo and it felt too much like need for speed.
I enjoyed DiRT a lot more.

The graphics are absolutely incredible, but I absolutely suck at driving.
I am fine at NFS type arcade racers, but things like Forza make me want to throw a controller. While I though GRID was a better mix of the two styles, I was still spinning out in the dirt/grass big time.

I played the PC demo last night ... graphics are stunning. But those that are looking for a sim, look elsewhere.

Quite fun, I like it. I'm playing through the campaign but trying to adjust the controls better

Anyone know if its possible to get the clutch working on the PC version of this with the Logitech G25? The Steering, braking, acceleration and H-pattern shifting is fine, but the clutch doesnt work:confused: Is there a setting or the game just doesn't include clutch support?

I don't think there's a clutch feature for PC; I'm disappointed with the Le Mans race, it's... uneventful =\
I don't know if they have an actual bowl arena for the destruction derby instead of pure lap races, that'd be fun.
I'm working my way up the license stuff, I'm halfway through all 3 for the second tier.

I take it it's out now? I'm still on the fence on this. I'll probably skip it judging from the demo. It just felt too much like DiRT which was impressive the first few times with it but got really old real fast.

It's a fun game, kind of a cross between a sim and an arcade, but I agree it's probably a rental. I've put a number of hours into the game, and it's getting to be the same stuff over and over kind of thing. I didn't get the same feeling with dirt because the tracks changed for most of the different types of rally cars.

Just got the full version off steam last night for $39.99 US.
So far it's been fun .. just terribly difficult.

It's difficult because the AI is ridiculously cranked, not because you're trying to drive like Michael Schumacher but you're a rice boy with a Honda Civic. That kind of difficult, right?

Honestly, the only time I have trouble... is during the Derby races and it isn't because of the AI but because of the awful handling with the car lol.
I think there's some catch-up logic with the PC though if it's behind.

I will be getting this game once it's on sale somewhere...I have too little money =(
but I LOVE the demo. It was just too awesome not to buy this game.

So after giving the demo a go a couple more times, and actually winning a couple races, I decided to buy it.
So far, it's a blast. It definitely took me awhile to get used to the steering, but so far I've only gotten first, in the first few races in normal mode.
Except for drifiting; I tried it once in the demo, and sucked it up huge.
I actually returned Ninja Gaiden 2 (unopened) b/c I thought the demo left me a little underwhelmed. So far, GRID is proving itself nicely.

If you are using keyboard you gotta adjust your control setting to allow for better steering and throttle control (e.g. the deadzone)

I really want this game but since ive been able to get my last 3 or so games for cheap (GTA4-Free, MGS4-$39.99, GT5P-$29.99) I find it hard to dish out $59.99 for this. Maybe Ill wait a little.
Ive been meaning to pick up Dirt also but the cheapest ive seen is $49.99 and thats a little much for a games thats been out for so long.

The learning curve on this game is crazy long.. but when you get a hang of it - it'll keep you entertained for a veryy long time.
I'm playing on my G25, and there are only two things that suck about GRID.. there is no support for the H shifter and the clutch, as well as no multi monitor support.
