Can't remember the name. But there's a Buffet Indian Restaurant inside mall at the the north-east corner of Bay & Dundas that has fairly good value (not quality) Indian food.

Go along the Gerrard St. Indian Bazaar. Don't know about the quality but the prices are cheap. Does it seem more authentic that it's in India town?
I went to KAMA on 214 King St. W. before, seemed ok there. And thanks to RFD, you can get 15% off if you pay by MasterCard:

There are a bunch of Indian buffet places near Baldwin and Shuter. They usually have all you can eat for like $6, and the food is decent (I'm Indian).

Lat time I went, all you can eat lunch was $11 including tax & nominal tip.
Seperate buffets for vegetarian and not.
I think that mall is called Atrium on Bay. Regardless, it is the one directly north of the Eaton's Centre.

Depending on what 'affordable' means to you, Babur on Queen Street just east of City TV has a nice lunch buffet, all you can eat, it's around $10 if memory serves me correctly.
There's also another one just east of that, similarly priced and also very good.

Yes, I very dirty restaurant. It's so busy whenever you go there...they never clean the tables, the water comes from a hose >:( The food is ok though, I don't mind it.

Does one need to leave a tip if its a buffet? I would think that I was doing all the work myself really. I feel uncomfortable leaving a tip at a coffee shop if I have to make the coffee myself. I usually tip generously if its good service/food, but I never tip at a buffet. Is that wrong?

Well the waiters/waitresses do have to take away your plates after you finish the food (multiple times), as well as refill your water, bring out your drinks if you order any, so tipping is absolutely appropriate and is what I always do.
