Hello, all;
Currently, I am looking for some intro/beginner classes to motorcycle riding in Toronto to help me get the M1/M2 license.
Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

then finally book your M test at the MTO or back to the trainer

Bought the M Class MTO book and I did the M1 in Brampton Drivetest, was $15 I think.
Took the M2 weekend classes and testing at Sheridan College at the end of the riding season, was $420. (which was worth the money).
Bought a bike the next season.

Sorry to thread hijack, but does anyone know of any courses that provide gear as well (mainly a helmet)? If not, does anyone know of any places that rent helmets?

I did my course at RTI and I don't have anything bad to say about them.

These courses don't provide gear, so you will need your own motorcycle helmet and denim jacket/jeans at the very least.

Sheridan: http://www1.sheridaninstitute.ca/programs/coned/motorcycle/bring.cfm (helmet only). Besides that, just wear jeans, leather jacket, gloves, and shoes that cover your ankles.

I remember renting my helmet at Parker Bros (they're in Mississauga). It was somewhere around $30, and they gave me a $30 voucher upon its return, good for anything in the store.

The course cost pretty much the same at most places.
Your biggest expense in this hobby would be insurance so make sure to shop around for quotes. ;)
