I've done tons of research and decided on getting a Solia 3/4" straightener.
I only know that Folica sells them but I'm not sure when the sales come around and being the RFD'er that I am, I wanna save as much as possible. Shipping to Canada also costs like $27 which totally kills the deal.

If anybody knows where else you can buy them at the best price please tell me.
I live in Toronto, but currently in London, ON at University, so anywhere close to these places would be ideal for pickups if not online.

Folica sells it for $79.95 but I've heard that it was ~$60 during X-mas.

Someone on Ebay is selling a used one for 45.99 and 14.99 shipping, but I don't use Ebay and am kinda skeptical.

I can vouch for that flat iron. I have that exact same one and its great. I bought it from folica.com. However, I was in the States for 3 days and had it shipped to the address I was staying at. They offer free ground shipping in the US so there was no charge for shipping. As I was gone for 48 hours, I could also declare $400 and not pay any taxes or duty when crossing the border. I've got 3 flat irons, all from folica.com. I have 2 that are HAI and then the Solia that you are looking to buy. So far, no problems (one I've had 3 years and use several times a week).

If you do go to the States, you can't beat the prices at folica.com. The same one I got there for under $100 is sold here for $250. The shipping fee isn't great if you need to get it shipped here, but if you ever take a trip to the States, order one then.

The only thing to be careful of if you're buying from a private seller you won't have a warranty if something goes wrong.
