I am looking for a car for family and commuting to work daily. I want one that is economical for work with the rising price of gas I have 100km daily to drive. My sons are also tall over 6 feet so sitting in the back seats we needed a car that has plenty of head room. I have tried and liked the Pontiac vibe and tried it with the kids and they like the headroom of this car. I found a 2005 for about 13 thousand. I received the flier last night for the Kia rondo. We went to see it and saw that it has plenty of headroom. What we did not like is the false advertisement of the prices. I found that getting the Rondo the car would add up to close to 30,OO0 dollars with all the taxes in and that does not include the insurance, more than double the Vibe and not at good in gas saving. Does anyone have any other suggestions. The used Rondo is not available in my area. Thanks for the help

The Matrix is almost the same as the Vibe, perhaps look into that(though it'll be a bit more expensive used, Toyotas often have a higher resell price).

You must have been pricing a Ex-V6 Luxury 7-seater Rondo, because that is the only model that even comes close to $30K, at $27,745 incl D&D.

The 4-cylinder EX only runs $23,745, including destination and delivery. And if you can't get is cheaper than that, you should really consider having a 3rd party negotiate on your behalf.
