I am a complete car newbie, driving and changing windshield fluid is all I can do. I am really interested in taking car DIY class in high school or college, to learn how to change oil, air filter, some basic staff and go from there.(not to pursue a mechanic career)

Can anyone give me some info. on this and how much is the cost?

I work 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, so the class has to be offered at night or weekends.

I live in Kitchener and don't care drive a bit. Cambridge, Guelph etc are fine for me.

Any information will be highly appreciated! Thanks RFDers!

I highly DOUBT you will find a class.

I was kinda in your position last year.

Started just changing tires. Now I do pretty anything I can. Oil and Filter Change. Brakes, Alternator's.....

Just read up on a car forum for your specific car and take it from their.

You will need a good jack and jack stands for a start.
