NDS Lite no turn on

The NDS lite that I got last year with trade 6 games at EB no longer turns on. Well technically, it turns on then immediately off. The top screen stays black whle the bottom screen flickers on then turns off.

The system is still under warrenty, I wonder if I could bring this back to EB Games or shoud I call Nintendo for NECA in Scarborugh for an replacement if possible.

I have tried the battery in another system and it works, another battery in my system doesn't work.

1. Is the NDS charged?
2. Is the game cartridge fitted properly?
3. drop it much?

Its useless to take it to EBgames, you might as well send it back to nintendo if it is within the warranty period.

It is charged, it doesn't even load PicoChart (no cartrigde), I did drop my bag yesterday. I called nintendo and would be bringing into the NESA in scarbough.
