So automart magazine and autotrader.ca. Are these ads the same? Disregarding the fact that most dealers are garbage and scum  I know I have have to excercise the same caution when it comes to dealing with salesmen.
I go through the GTA automart magazine now and then and it's rediculous what some used dealers are asking for their cars, even in terms of leasing you're better off buying brand new with warranty.
Autotrader.ca is faster for tracking down what you want. I'm still navigating the site but it doesn't have some listings like automart(ex. no golf tdi's under 10k). Probably will take a while before I find anything reasonable.
How much do independant mechanics charge these days for inspections? Unfortunately I don't know anyone close that's mechanically inclined.

AutoMart and Trader.ca are pretty much the same thing. You use to go to AutoMArt.ca and it would load you to trader.ca and so safety inspection I can get one for $60. I saw a ad in automart magazine and a used car lot wanted 600 for safety, emissions, licensing
