PES 2008 - 49.99 at BB/FS...Any good?

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 - Its release day is listed as today, but I called FS and they said its gonna be out tomorrow for PS3 and next week for 360. EB gave me the opposite (360 tomorrow and PS3 next week). Has anyone played this since its been available in europe for about 6 months now, and if so, how does it compare to fifa 08?

wrong forum mods plz move but PES is better than Fifa generally except Fifa is licensed with the teams. PES is for sure better when its compared to Fifa football wise.

PES is amazing... it's a different experience from FIFA, but I enjoy PES better. BTW... *** :)

I think 49.99 is regular price. PES has been better so far, but PES 2008 quite sucks. I'd recommend FIFA too.

PES 2008 rocks. Plus you can download the option files to replace the team names and player names.

I can play that game all day long. I usually prefer PES (or Winning Eleven) over Fifa since 1997 but I haven't tried Fifa 08 so I cannot comment about the PES compare to Fifa 08.

the review over in Asia was pretty bad....

I like looked at the game in Pacific Mall awhile back and it's not "next gen" at all..

Been playing Winning 4 on PS2 till PES 2007 on PS2.. personally, i am not that impress from PES 2007 and on...

so i tried fifa 08 and it was great :cheesygri
