I've known this girl for quite some time now, half a year. We were going out but she's going through some things and has requested a soul-searching break. Fine. So we've been on a break for about a week. Her mother loved me off from the things shes heard about me, and a couple times we've talked on the phone. She has strict parents, but everytime it was anywhere with me it was allowed and fine. During the break, I was asked to meet her mother, pretty awkward. I was sorta shy, but we did talk.

Afterwards, her mother had told her I was really really good, blah blah, good with money etc etc. according to my girlfriend she loved me off in person now.

That same night though her mother saw a gift I had given her, which wasn't much, and gave her an entire lecture of reasons why not to have sex. Now her mother is hesitant to let her out with me (yes although we're on a break, we're not really. I don't know, I don't even understand myself) as she believes all we're going to end up doing is having sex.

How do I change this? Lol. Is there a way to change this? Her mom thinks I'm a sex-craving guy whos too good to true. lol
