Anyone know if there is a way to get the Rock Band guitar to work with Guitar Hero 3 on the 360? I know officially they are not supposed to be compatible...

right now, i do not believe there is a way.

I know for sure it does not work on a modded xbox either.


i don't see really anyone trying to make it work, the RB Guitar sucks compared to the GH's wired and wireless guitar.

I like the Les Paul better too, but it's annoying that I have GH3 and my friend has Rock Band, but we can't both play GH3 at the same time because his guitar won't work...

yes that does suck, however i was told by an ebgames manager here that the lespaul wireless will be on sale, May 1st, for 55$. then you can both play ;)

I rather play rockband i find that game easier, GH3 pisses me off too much, hehe

That song is awesome. Playing bass is just freakin' annoying though, so repetitive. I like the Guitar part though.

Nope. Blame it on Activision. They love to lock out other companies guitars on their games.

rockband guitar only works in the PC version of GH3

You have to admit, that's really the only song that pisses people off on RB... Well, for me.

rockband guitar only works in the PC version of GH3
This blows my mind. I want to try this now.
