Jason Statham cements his position as this generation's action star with a solid performance in this gritty and exciting telling of the true story of a famous London bank robbery from 1971. There's been lots of good heist movies this past decade, and this one cuts back a bit on the humour and adds a surprisingly complex multi-layered story.

but anyways, it wasn't that great imo...its like a setup of setups... corrupt scotland yard p0p0s FTMFL!

this jason guy plays the SAME fricken character in all his movies lol...sort of like how tom cruise plays a cocky s0b in all his movies

saw this last night, was a lot better than i had expected. i liked the multilayered aspect of it, and how all the ministories were related to the heist

It is a good movie and i was surprised they kept some of the history of it.
The Trinidad Newsday had a great article on this recently
The truth
Abdul Malick looked like himself
There were in fact photos of the individuals
John Lennon did pay for the Trial
Malick was hung in Trinidad
Gail was discovered in a shallow grave , she was buried alive

What was twisted
The princess photos took place in Tobago
Gail was Blonde
Malick was arrested in Guyana on his way to Brazil
I can go on, i actually know one of the guys who helped in the murder
and recently go out from serving his life sentence.
The murder itself would have made a better movie i hope they eventually make one as well as another famous Brit case involving the Hosein Brothers.

I wanna see this! I love Jason Statham. He was really good in 'Crank.'

I haven't seen a good heist movie since the Italian job.

Movie was great, nothing spectacular but definitely worth watching. I think Statham always plays this one dimensional character because he plays it well, although in this movie he wasn't the typical "hitman".

I saw it when it came out. It started slow but overall I loved it.

I hope Lionsgate gives us a "3:10 to Yuma" like when they release this on Blu-ray High-Def!

I was bored.

I watched the Other Boleyn Girl right after, and that was more entertaining.
And i slept through half of it.
