Reset Canon MP530 printer cartridge chip

HI,
Need help on resetting Printer chip on Canon MP530. Bought refill from ebay. Followed all the instruction from google. None seems to work. e.g. Holding the reset button fo more than 5 sec. any other idea?

Press and hold the cart. It must flash once then release when it turns solid red.
