my girl has the rainforest jumperoo...she loves it...best money I spent so far on her.

the only disadv is the jumperoo has crappy toys on the top compared to the other standalone saucers.

you'll have so much fun watching you little one jump on it!

(you'll know your baby is ready for it if she likes to stand on your lap now...and jump on your lap at times...if not..your baby will just sit on it and do nothing much)

We have that exact bouncer. My daughter LOVED it! We could sit her down it it and eat while she would get that thing rocking pretty good. She really liked the lights and the bouncing frog and swinging monkey on the arch. She could have cared less for the hanging parrot and monkey.

We felt very safe in putting her in it. The materials were made well. It also assembled easily, which was handy for bringing it from place to place. It just takes about 4 screws to assemble it.

I would recommend it!

Thanks Lefteye and MegaSilver...

is the baby able to turn around when sitting in it (Jumperoo)? Ie. the circle bouncers enable the baby to turn anywhere

after a week (she was getting stronger playing it)...she was able to "turn around" (as the seat is not stationary) to play with other items (on the other side) on the jumperoo.

at dinner, we usually pop her in there and *usually* plays on it for a good 20-30mins depending on her mood. She's quite moody in the evening (ie sleepy).

but during the day it gives my wife some time to do laundry, cook, etc (30mins each time)

the advantages I found:

1. her legs got much stronger
2. the spinner toys improves her hand coordination

we had a very similar bouncer and our son loved it. Would vibrate and he found that very soothing...spent most of his first 4 months in it. :)

Most of his first 4 months? It says recommended for 4 month and up?

well babies grow at different rates...

my daughter was using something similar but couldnt fill out out the chair properly so she was tilt sideways at 3 months...however at 4months she could somewhat support her head and the chair was definitely better fitted.

before that was used some towels/cushions to fill out the 1/3 of the space in the chair so she wouldnt tilt

We started to use the rainforest jumper at 4 mths... He loves it and prefers it over any other toy. His face lights up every time he uses it. I do agree that he couldn't care less for the parrot and frog above his head.

I was talking about the bouncer....not the jumper....
I'd say he used it from 3 weeks - 4 months...
