Hi everyone, I'm a newbie in photography and recent my parents bought a Canon IXUS 960IS from HK. I used to have my own Canon SD630.

Since I have the SD630 already, I don't want to have 2 point & shoot camera. I'm thinking to sell the 960IS as brand new, and trade for a S5IS.

Do you think it's worth it (spec wise, I manage to make a direct trade on both camera).

You think I should trade for S5IS and get rid of the 960IS?

I carry the SD630 in pocket when I go out with friends, etc.....so I don't need a small one that's 12MP and really taking nice nice picture....

If I have the S5IS, I can do some photography outside, and with some objects, etc...

Please give your advice. Keep it clean pls. Thanks!

what would the S5 do that the 960 not do for your purposes/intentions? or the 630, for that matter?

That's the question I ask. Is S5IS good enough or better spec wise for me to trade the 960IS for it?

It depends on what you expect out of the camera and your uses. A camera is just a tool, you need to specify what you expect out of it. Do you need longer zoom? Is the bulkiness going to be an issue? Flip-out LCD worth something to you?
