Moms to be...and More has their 2007 Maclaren strollers on sale. I've been looking for an umbrella stroller for a while and picked up a Quest, which my wife and son both love. I can't speak for the other models, but they had most of the (2007) Quest colours.

Volo- Was $169, now $129
Triumph- Was $230, Now $180
Quest – Was $280, Now $210
Techno XT - Was $350, Now $275
Techno XLR - (floor model) Was $450, Now $350
For those that have never been to the store, please note that parking in the area (Bayview, south of Eglinton) is horrendous, parking enforcement is always close-by and when I was there, the city was clearing roadside snow, so there was limited side street parking.

Thanks for the heads up. Prices look very good. Are these strollers full size strollers or umbrella strollers?

I really wanted a Quest. That's a nice little compact stroller. I'm currently using the Evenflo from the old travel system and sometimes the wheels fall off  The youngest is 20 months though and likes to walk everywhere so I'll keep working on running the current stroller into the ground especially since I haven't found a cheap second-hand Maclaren and I'm not in the GTA. Best way to save money is to be nowhere near a sale?

We are considering a Maclaren XLR for our newborn, but trying to decide what car seat to use with it. Originally, we were thinking of going with Recaro, but since they aren't Canadian certified yet, we're not really sure of what to use as an alternate.
Any suggestions?

I was in the area a couple days ago, so decided to pop in to Mom's To Be and More and take a look, even though we still have a long while before we need anything. But I must say, this place is awsome. We went in thinking Maclaren, and walked out knowing we want a BOB.
The staff was very freindly and extremely knowledgable, and not pushy at all. After telling him that we wouldn't be buying for another few months, he stood there for about an hour, walking us through all the different strollers and car seats they carried and explaining the differences. Then as we were leaving, he gave me a 'starter package', which was basically a bag full of magazines, flyers, catalogues and coupons.
We did however, find some of the smaller items, like cloths and toys and stuff to be a little on the pricier side, but we haven't really compared with anywhere else yet.
