I would never purchase an item this big from Tdirect. Bestbuy had the Sharp 52 inch 1080P for $2000 during boxing week. I would not consider this a good deal.

I was just there yesterday and though TD was doing pretty good price-wise on low-end HDTVs.

I was looking at a 32" Olevia 532 for $499 ($550-50MIR) and though it was a pretty good deal...I'll take it over the Viewsonic from Costco for $599.

Maxent 42" plasma monitor for a little more than $800 with a free Dynaex DVD upconverter...

$1500 is a lot of coins for low end 52" TV...considering low end 50" plasmas are in the $1200 range. If you watch TV you know which one is the eye pleaser.

beware of some Sharp 52" LCD's at Best Buy. The ones manufactured in 2006 had complaints of banding.

no idea if this is a good deal, sounds to be like one but im unsure of teh quality. Can anyone comment? I might return my 47 inch viewsonic for this but im unsure if i should. Would love some insight.

Nm just saw this.

Also for 1500 bucks this is a 1080p tv and most of those 1200 bucks ones arnt. Also this is LCD which is better imho.

I haven't found a review for it. Any opinions?

Shipping to Winnipeg is $140 by the way.

Yeah I don't know where posters have seen low end 52-inch for $1200 LOL.This is a 1080p and the specs are pretty tight closest competitor is minimum $2000.

The only thing that concerns me is that I haven't seen one in action on display...and the 8ms is questionable for ghosting on fast games. But with 30 days is that reason to return?

Rumor has it they have LG guts, plus every reviewer was jerking off over this thing so..

Gee

I was told that these had Samsung panels in them. I would buy one if my uinversal remote works with it.

I meant to say LG. Google around apparently the company has stated this on record.
