Is there any legal way to make buying into TTC (http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/) tokens an RRSP-eligible investment?

It seems like with the volatile markets these days, this is a centre of guaranteed growth.

Could be possible, but the bank would have to hold them in a vault, like registered gold.

A better question would be if one can hedge the cost by buying TTC futures?

No. TTC tokens don't show up on the list of securities that are allowed by the CRA to be held in an RRSP.
