I have 2 GB Sandisk mini SD, and I just notice that it only shows 50% free even though I re-format it. It actually says 1.89 GB capacity but only 50% free. How can I fix it? Is it a defective unit? Thanks for any help.

No, it is not new, I got it from Bell along with my phone. I have been using it but didn't notice the problem until I was trying to copy more stuff over and exceeded the 50%..............
