So OK, I am a little bored here...
This is what I bought my GF for her Valentine.... Is real simply, go to local Body Shop, ask for the latest product and pull out my Visa :)
Is a waste of money if you ask me, but us guys know, it has to be done! The bag is pretty through~ LoL

Miraculously...I made it through VDay w/out a single purchase....no idea how that happened.
My wife did however swipe between $500-$1000 from my wallet 2 days ago :(. I think that was retribution for the fiasco :(.

I think this is more "off topic" than photography, but I got here a Toblerone chocolate. Reg $6.99, picked up for $3.99...

If the flowers I had ordered to be delivered to my gf at her work had arrived, I would have taken a pic of them. Should I take a pic of my credit card transaction I'm getting a chargeback for? haha.
Nice pic OP, black table and black background?

We had a similar story with my flowers, despite the fact that they were ordered way in advance, but I did end up getting them... eventually! Here are a few i took out of the bouquet for a pic.

I use a black panel from the side of my computer case, lol... the black background is due to my high shutter speed of 1/500s + small A, therefore, zero room lighting were used.

True. But we have a nice community of photo guys/gals here!
I don't know what to buy my gf yet. As I am saving up for a new camera/lens.

I bought my wife a 14kt white gold, diamond drop pendant with a 14kt white gold chain. The pendant contains five graduated, bezel set, round brilliant cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is 0.42cts or greater. The Diamond clarity is VS-2 or better. The diamond colour is I or better.
Heh, I stole this off the Article of Description from costco that I got with it. Its very Dainty, and is going to match the earrings that I got her a couple years ago, I'm going to take her out for a valentines dinner!
Things were good last year so I thought I'd splurge this year and get her something nice. She doesn't expect anything and that's the beauty of our relationship.
I'll take a picture when I can, cause she could bust in on me anytime and I want it to be a surprise (no she doesn't read RFD ;))

Same thing I do every year...nothing.
I did need a specific day to let my wife know that she is special. ;)
