Nikon 70-200 VR + Canon 500D

Hi, just wonder if anybody has any experience with Nikon 70-200 with Canon 500D attached? How good / effective is that combo? Is the lens as sharp with the attachment? Thanks.

would like to hear others' experience to use this setup to do occasional macro pic. primary camera is a d2x.

I use this combo daily. It's very sharp with zero brokeh wide open.
