well i thought some store managers might offer me a deal here... the 2nd hand market of photo equipment is very very tiny in canada anyway, so I dont expect to get a 2nd hand deal here.

Store managers? Where did you assume that there are store managers on this website? And even then, how do you expect them to offer you a deal here, based on what? Like if I were a manager of a retail store, I gotta have incentive before I cut anyone a deal, if they're gonna buy $30k worth of equipment from my store each month...etc. Unless, you were looking for black market deals....

Well if I were a store manager I would definitely give deals to my friends.

But anyways, a good used market can be found on www.FredMiranda.com. Unfortunately most of the people are from the US with a sprinkling of Canadians.

well one manager from a big chain of photography retail did relpy me, but he only cut $5 off :|

i know they make a huge profit margin from selling lens, so price is definately negotiable.
