just a question, would it be possible for a tailor to reduce the length of the arms and overall length of a blazer without ruining the look of it? i have a pretty slim Tristan and America blazer but its just a bit too long on the arms and overall lenght... looking for possible 2 inches off both.

yeah, ask them to take the sleeves off and take it up from the shoulders instead of straight off the ends of the sleeves.
it'll cost you around 75 though.

It doesn't necessarily have to be done that way.
Depending on your jacket. If the cuff buttons are working buttons, unfortunately you do have to shell out a lot of money to get them shortened at the top. If not, they can just take it off from the bottom and stitch the buttons back on.

Sleeves are easy. Overall length can be tricky. If your blazer has pockets, shortening by 2" might make them appear too low.
