oh.. just punched in march 2 and it shows 79$ is that a round trip or 1 way
..odd thing is when i tested 1 way on mar 2nd. prices shows 79$ still not 9$
how u get 43 us ?
here is my feedback about allegiant...
the flight packages are pretty nice. i last went to vegas in nov. during the 50% off vacation package. came up to 77X$ cdn to stay 5 days at the mgm.. was nice.
but the negative thing about allegiant is their reliability in flight times and departures. i had to wait 5 hours due to some stupid delays and problems so i missed one of my shows zumanity. i wanted to watch it too. oh well. i got to watch another one instead.

I guess the deal may be good is you live in BCEasy there Centre of the Universe... the "GVR" icon in the thread title is a HUGE giveaway that this deal just might be "region specific". Most people in the Vancouver area know where Bellingham is, and don't expect *** to know where it is unless they have a map or geography lesson.

BINGO. I just flew with allegiant a little bit ago, both departure and return were 4 hours delayed. Had to go straight from the Airport to the show or else I'd miss the thing.
Sometimes when it works out to $300 or so less then a local flight it can be bearable, but for $150 or so difference I don't think I'll be flying them anymore.

The $9 flight only applies to the very last flight on that the day. The other two earlier flights are still only $79.
In total with taxes is ~$120.

My last flight with them was horrible. We were delayed in Vegas for 6 hours, hit turbulence for most of the return flight. Only got offered one drink and snack free and got a $25 voucher towards next flight. Then again I only paid $69 each way and the second person flew free, but still ****** delay when you only have 1 plane flying back and forth.

Indeed. Flight 586 departing at 4:30PM is the one that is $9.
Total with taxes is $19.50.

I flew with them in december. for the 2 for 1 special. 460$ for flights for 2 and 2 nights at planet hollywood. the flight was ok, there was a problem with the washroom, no running water.
for this new deal it work out to 108.5$ tax in, for 1. (select the 4:30 pm flight on March 2nd)
so this deal is actually as good as the deal i had in december.
for 2 tickets and 2 nights hotel that should work out to about 400 something.
this deal is more flexible if you wanna fly alone or dont want to stay at any of their hotel.
oh and dont book the shuttle bus through them, it's cheaper to buy from the booth at the airport. Actually it was cheaper to rent a car.

Being a newbie is no excuse for being a rude illiterate jackA$$. Compounding your ignorance with attempted cuteness with stmt like For Everyone Else Who Isn't A Geographer is plain dumb.
FYI: GVA is Greater Vancouver Area. locally we call it GVRD for greater Vancouver Regional District but most use GVA to sync up with GTA as a courtesy to non-BCers. We GVRD folks know where Bellingham is in the same way you know where Buffalo is.:)

Just purchased two return tix.
The total came to $274.00 which includes two shuttle passes for airport to hotel (and vice versa) as well as the ability to bring one bag (yes they charge $10.00 per bag).
Even though they ding you with a couple of silly little fees I still think the price is pretty good.
Breakdown was as follows:
Airfare: $163.72
Federal Taxes: $12.28
Segment Fees: $14.00
PFC: $17.00
911 Security: $10.00
Prepaid Bags: $10.00
Ground Trans: $28.00
Miscellaneous: $19.00
------------------------
Total: $274.00

Thanks! I booked that as well! I was originally going to go with priceline but they were rejecting my bids for $70 (plus $10 in taxes) a night in that area so for $94 a night on average I'd rather just pick the luxor and know where I'm going.

How often does Allegiant offer the $9 flights to Vegas?
Very rarely...$79 right now is an awesome deal.
I remember back in Oct I was looking at that site and another RFD'er "Pavel" told me that the best price he saw up to that point was $77 I think.

November - Mechanical problems on the way there, lack of crew on the way back (stuck in a storm or something).

That's too bad. Typically, it's weather delays that are the problem.

We've flown Allegiant to Vegas on numerous occasions and there have been delays. We take it in stride though considering the flights are so reasonable. Wicked deal OP, too bad we're too late to take advantage of it.

The $9 OW was very likely a pricing error. Not much of a window to take advantage of this rare price.

Pavel

It's been $59 for a more than 24 hours.
I checked Allegiants recent flight on time record and it's actually quite low compared to other airlines. It's around 65% on time.
