They are both mass produced and very comparable quality and price wise, just buy whichever logo you like better.

Lacoste polos fit very poorly IMO, especially if you are taller and/or slimmer. For me, they are considerably too short prewashing even if I am wearing a tentlike 6. RL custom fit is slightly better but still short.

I agree. I'm really slim and Lacoste polos seem to fit poorly on me. The shoulders are fine, but when I wear even a small Lacoste polo, there seems to be extra "fabric" in the front. It just look sloppy on me while a small RL polo fits me perfectly.

YOu could try XS in lacoste? Im not sure but i think ralph lauren dont come in XS. Keep in mind S in america = M in canada. American's sizes are so messed up. Never order clothes from them again.

Once ordered a small and fit like a medium. I found out why when i went ot mexx, it had sizing in all differnet countries. and if CAD = S, US = XS

Thats why you should go to a store and try it on first. Holt and Harry has both so you can try them on back to back and get a feel for them that way.

RL is better... pre-shrunk, and the fit is a lot better. Lacoste has sloppy fake and I find the quality rather poor compared to RL.

I like lacoste fits a bit more then polos only because i dont like how the back side of polo is longer then then front; i like my shirts to fit around my waist/hip, dont like how times the front is too short or the back is too long.

however quality wise, I may have to say polo is slightly better

do us all a favour and stick to the following rules:

1. Don't buy off Ebay
2. Don't ask us where to buy them.
3. Don't ask us to tell you if it is real or not.

and my most important rule for peace of mind....

4. BUY FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, I.E Lacoste or Polo directly!

Thank You.

RL Polo polos are inconsistent in terms of sizes and fabrics. Its hit and miss with sizes; Ive worn anything from a M to an XL. They all seem to fit differently in terms of width and length and Ive had to have them all shortened by the tailor regardless of size. The fabric itself is also incosistent; I dont know what it depends on but I know when that almost all of my RL Polo polos were different even though they were essentially the same shirt bought at the same store just in different colors.

yea i don't understand why people would by from ebay, lacoste and RL polo are like 60$,40$ respectively at woodbury or nearby outlets in america. I swear fakes on ebay sometimes run for that much too.
