This winter is too warm and I have not actually needed my winter jacket. I did wear it a few times only because it has a hood and I needed to shovel the snow off my driveway.

wow i'm so envious. haha. Nothing can keep me as warm as i would like. when -45ºc hits it's impossible to be warm. Everytime i step out of the warm to get into the building i run as fast as possible. But I use a peacoat :P. Hopefully next year i'll get a nice north face.

North Face only when the windchill reaches -20.
Wool coat otherwise.

It's -30C in Calgary now (w/o wind chill) and my trusty MEC Polartec 300 fleece and Patagonia Shell are keeping me nice and warm.

Like the previous poster said, it's minus-stupid in Calgary today (-50 with windchill this morning). Yet I was toasty in my:
- Kodiak boots
- longjohns
- Head Outlast gloves
- Face mask
- MEC fleece toque
- MEC polartec fleece
- WindRiver (Marks Work Wearhouse) down parka.

i bought a grey bomber jacket from tristan-america 2-3 weeks ago. for $60, can't pass up a good deal. the jacket couple with a good scarf keeps me quite warm for really cold weather. otherwise, i'm always with my peacoat or my trench

Marmot 200 weight fleece and Marmot shell. I didn't plan on buying both to be Marmot, but their jackets work well for me. Most of the time I just wear the fleece.
When I'm out doing aerobic activities I'll wear my Arc'teryx Gamma SV sofshell then my North Face 700 fill down jacket to keep me warm when I'm not moving.
I have a couple black wool coats if I ever want to look a little more posh when going out too.

Usually a sweater and over-coat, but then again, I drive from underground parking to underground parking and rarely need to go outside.

The North Face Surreal Jacket + thick sweater + scarf + HBC Olympic hat
hands go into jacket pockets
i'm looking to get a face mask to replace my scarf (breathing through a scarf is quite difficult and gets wet too fast = uncomfortable)
