Hi all,
A friend asked me to sell 2 rings for her. The appraisal says they are worth $3200 each ($6400 total). How much can I expect to get for them?
Thanks in advance.
Here is a shot of the appraisal document.

Bump. Any ideas would be appreciated. What should my asking price be if I was to sell these here or on Craigslist or ebay? Thanks.

i doubt your gonna have any success with a private sale. your better off selling it to those jewelry liquidators

I think 1200 or so for each set is a good price.
950 for the rings and a couple of hundred for the diamonds.
appraisal values are always inflated compared to selling price. The jewelery exchanges policy is that their appraisal value is 2x what you paid which gives you an idea of the appraisal system.
New rings that are platinum and weigh 14 grams are about 1100dollars if you find a good deal. Yours are used so they are worse less. Small diamonds don't add much value for a personal sale regardless of the quality because they are too small to inspect. Also small diamonds are cheap regardless of quality because its common to find small quality diamonds.
