Hi guys.. I need help regarding what cellphone should I choose. I have dilemna between n82 and n95-2. Can you tell me what n95-2 does have that n82 doesn't have and vice-versa? Also, can I use the videocall feature of these cellphones here in Canada?

thanks

Don't you need to be on the 3G network for the videocall to work?
Only Fido and Rogers has that. Which is okay since both these phones are GSM. However, only the N95 has a US version with the correct 3G frequency.

You can check out the hardware specs on www.gsmarena.com

a black version of the n82 looks to be coming out soon, thats also something to consider if appearance is an issue, if not, then whatever floats your boat  .

if your using it as a camera then the N82 is the way to go with the xenon flash. they rate it as the best camera in a phone right now and one that is comparable to point and shoot cameras. However the N95 uses the same camera but no flash so daytime pics should look the same. Also the N95 has the extra .4" screen which makes a huge difference if your watching a movie or using the GPS.

It all depends on if you plan on using the camera more or if you plan on using it as a multimedia device but everything else is the same.

The black N82 does look a lot better and within the month you should start seeing it for the same price as the silver.

I have the n82 for 2 weeks now. I like it.

Vs n95

Pros:
- Camera is great (great flash)
- Kinda smaller than N95
- GPS work SOOOOOO much better than n95. Many people complain about the GPS on the n95. (antenna location isn't the best idea Nokia had on that one) On N82, I get a fix in less than 1 minutes (a-gps off, if on it's wittin seconds) with over 10 sats. Better than my garmin actually :|

Cons:
- Keypad need time to get used to
- the Dpad suck big time.
- Missing the "wow factor" that a slider have.

Overall, I prefer the n82, but both are great phone.

neither of these phones run on the north american 3g network. which means your missing out on video calling and high speed data,
just get the n95-3
