Well, finally thought I'd give SP1 RC1 a try on my Vista 64 box which has been experiencing some compatibility and performance issues. Deployment took a good 2 hours (inc. download time).
So was looking to elicit some feedback?
Anyone have any good/bad experiences with SP1.

I haven't noticed any difference besides faster file transfers among drives.

Same here. No difference except for faster copies from my network drives.

That's good news to an extent as it was my major gripe with Vista. I have a NAS /Server box running Win 2003 and transfers were pathetically slow in spite of all hacks and hotfixes that were applied for this problem.
So far ok, indexing service crashed which has never happened before so shall call it a one-off glitch.
Boot time is the same.

I've heard some SP1 horror stories but it has been good to me so far
I had one random win32.sys BSOD I think but it may have been a fluke on my machine. It hasn't happened since.
