I got this laptop in September from this company. It currently has a possible screen inverter issue. Although the technicians could not find a problem with it when i brought it. But there is an issue with the screen going blank from time to time. I bought this laptop for $580 at the time of purchase.

So How much could i sell my laptop for? Thanks

*Sorry maybe this is this wrong section

It might be an LCD issue. I think with the T40 series we rarely had problems with the inverter, it was usually the LCD if I remember correctly (or if not the system board). Both are expensive to replace.

Hope this helps. But without being a fully functioning machine, it's hard to give an accurate quote. Just post it at $300-$350 and lower the price every week until it's sold.

Not much considering there was a dualcore at walmart for 400. An ibm lcd costs around 300 second hand.

Might as well part out the system. Few people will buy the whole thing unless the price is *really* good.
A working T40 runs at only ~400.
