I got this monitor free with my new comp. Besides the incredible trouble I had with the drivers this was partly the fault of VISTA and my graphics card, this monitor is working out great. No dead pixels out of the box and excellent quality with an HD video card. The stand could be a little more sturdy but no complaints here.

I bought this product in-store because I did not want to wait and fight the crowds for an extra inch, and maybe not get one. Except the widescreen, and the lack of space wasted by the monitor, the picture quality appears to be nearly identical to the 17 CRT it replaced. While it is still new, and it is too early to tell the long-term reliability, I am very impressed with the apparent quality of the product. It's fast, and the picture quality does not appear to deteriorate significantly when viewing from an angle. I recommend this monitor based on my early impression.

Purchased this monitor for use at home with my 13 macbook. I was concerned that it wouldn't match the quality of the macbook screen but was really impressed when connecting via DVI. As others have noted, the color and contrast ratio are really incredible. I'm not sure why anyone would pay the extra 100 for the HP unless you need the glossy screen. 3 year warranty is great.

This has all the major features you need when looking for an LCD monitor.It has a nice high contrast ratio 30001 for a great picture. It has a fast response time of 2ms, eliminating most blurring and ghosting. The stand and monitor itself are high quality and setup is a breeze.The only real drawback is the lack of DVI-D cable with the monitor. They include a VGA cable, but to get the true benefit from this monitor and to go digital you need a DVD-D cable.

The display is crisp and bright, and was very easy to set up. I think I spent more effort pulling my old 19 CRT off of my desk than I did unpacking and installing this beauty. The price is quite respectible for an LCD monitor with 2ms response time, even when it's not on sale. I cannot wait to try it out with City of Heroes tonight.My only gripe is that it came with just a standard VGA cable, meaning I have to go purchase a DVI cable in order to get the best display.

I just purchased this monitor few days ago and I love it Best colors ever, black is black and so many great features like flatron-engine. You can adjust everything with Your mouse, not even a single dead pixel common problem with other brands, my old dvds never looked so good. Good buy...

I bought a new computer recently without the monitor and was looking for a monitor that was a great buy and came across this LG. Excellent clarity, lighting quick response time and sharp looks. Also doesn't take much space on a desk. I always had a CRT monitor and now having this, I wonder now why it took me so long to buy an LCD

I've had this monitor for a week now and the crispness is just superb, no smudges here. The colours are fantastic especially in games, I mean black is really black not dark brown and the 2ms response time means the action is lightning quick the widescreen makes you feel you're really there. Great all around monitor. I highly recommend it.

I picked this up yesterday for cheap. Upgrading from a chunky CRT monitor makes this like a new computer for me. The contrasting is perfect. The colors are strong, and the 2ms response time makes this even better.I'd recommend this monitor to anyone looking for an LCD monitor.

this LCD Widescreen monitor is absolutely great I bought 1 yesterday and it was easy to hook up, it has a great clean image, it has a remarkable 2ms response time for when i'm gaming, and it looks fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good LCD monitor because this one is simply perfect. BUY IT

The 20" version was $199 on Boxing Week ... not that that helps you now, but just letting you know in comparison.
