If your current size is 235/65HR17, then I would highly recommend the Goodyear Fortera TripleTred. (Have a look at tirerack.com for other 4x4 users' reviews.)
I have the TripleTred (for passenger car, not the Fortera version, for my SUV). The Fortera TT model is the heavier truck version. And just to be even more confusing, I understand there is a Goodyear Fortera, that is not the Tripletred technology. So if you see a "redflagdeal" on some Forteras, make sure they are the Tripletred.
They can be a bit noisier, but the ride is good and the dry and wet performance is excellent.
Of course with the Fortera TT, which has a higher load rating, they may or may not be noisier than what you are use to. YMMV.
