Modern Baby sale at Ella & Elliot

I didn't post this in the Hot Deals section as it's not particularly a 'hot deal' with the high prices. However, for those who enjoy modern baby designs Ella & Elliot is having a sale on most items in the store.

Remember, this store is not for people looking for cheap baby stuff, rather people looking for a decent deal on high-end modern baby stuff that usually don't go on sale very often.

IMO, it's a good place to buy gifts but I wouldn't buy stuff for my own child as it's really expensive.

I would suspect that the OP means that buying things there regularly for their own child for everyday wear is very expensive. If looking for something different or unique, this might be a good option for someone looking for a gift for a child. Children's clothes can really add up, and they don't usually wear them out.:D

I was also thinking more along the lines of large ticket items you can go in with friends.

I stopped into E+E long after they opened ... what a mistake that I didn't go there sooner to get my nursery stuff! I had heard that it was "expensive" and that kept me away. First of all, let me say that their stuff is AMAZING -- good selection and beautifully presented. The way the store is laid out, you get lots of ideas for how to put things together. Anyway, on to $ matters. They carry a lot of the same brands that you can find at other stores and the prices are the same! We compared prices on cribs, strollers and other furniture -- same prices as elsewhere. There are, of course, some really unique European pieces that are pricey but most of the stuff was definitely competitive. Also, when I found something for less at another store, the offered me the same price. Considering the customer service, selection and ambience, I won't waste my time going to other places in the future under the mistaken assumption that, just because it's stylish that means it's expensive. It's not.
