ok so eBay requires that I get verified with paypal to sell some high value items, currently I am not verified with paypal.

in order to be verified I need to add a bank account.
my question is if I add a new bank account (empty of course), will paypal also have access to my other bank accounts?

can paypal access or request from my bank for personal info like SIN, credit rating, etc?

I would ask that if you don't know, please don't post spam this thread.

thnx

As far I know they don't have access to see how much u have in ur account or other personal information. It works similar as you give ur Banking information to any Company for a Direct Deposit. But u can ask the same question to your Bank let me know what they say.

My paypal account is currently $-22.00 in balance, will Paypal withdraw money from my bank account?

I was involved in a transaction where the buyer sent me paypal using a stolen credit card. He sent $600US and then the next day the money was frozen due to investigation of fraud. When they finally refunded the money, I got screwd $22.00 because of the exchange rate.

I get scammed and Paypal screws me. What a bunch of fukers.

dont verify with add a bank option because let say u get hacked, the person can withdraw a lot of cash from your bank to paypal then sends it away to his paypal account

use a $25 prepaid master card at Shopper Drug Mart called Vanilla if you aint gonna withdraw much and just verifying with ebay...

nice tip.

btw what if I add a disposable bank account without overdraft (ie one with an average balance of $10), can they still withdraw money from this disposal acct?

better yet can they ask the bank to go into my primary bank acct and take money outta there?

thnx

with paypal, they can tend to do anything... they have authorize or access to your bank account after you give them the info so basically paypal is like a hacking machine... its impossible to close down paypal nor delete it, all they do is make your account inactive but your account and info including your bank number is still there...
