Where will a BIT Degree Take Me?

Hey RFD where will a BIT Degree take me. Which has the potential to take me further: A BIT Degree or a Bcs degree? Let me hear your thoughts and inputs.

Hey RFD where will a BIT Degree take me. Which has the potential to take me further: A BIT Degree or a Bcs degree? Let me hear your thoughts and inputs.

My friend finished up his BIT degree this past April. He had a difficult time finding jobs online. He was hunting for jobs with pretty much 0 luck until October when his current employer contacted him for an interview.

He's currently making something in the neighborhood of 38k/year contract work (and he has the 4 Year Honours BIT degree). Assuming his current job place likes him he'll get offered a full time job with benefits and hopefully a nice boost in salary (but likely not that big of a boost since it's a smaller company). He's currently middle management working for a place that develops games for cell phones. I don't know how much of what he learned he's using....but needless to say he'd have likely been better off with a BCS.

If it makes any difference, he loves his job. It's exactly what he wanted to do and he loves it there, it's very laid back. This is in the private sector.
