I registered a corporation (limited company) before and have some limited income every year.

I recently got an offer from Deloitte and wonder if I need to close/dissolve this corporation if I work for them. (The offer mentioned something about conflict of interest but I am not sure what to do.)

If anyone here has the same experience and could provide your comments, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, you need to close it.

Thanks. It looks like I need to transfer it to my wife if there is Ok with her company. :) She asked me to do so before though. :cheesygri

It depends on what the corporation does. You will definitely need to disclose it on the Independence things they make you fill out.

If there's an issue of independence, then transferring it to your wife won't matter. Immediate family ownings and investments (including parents and children, depending on your title) are considered as well.
