Hi,

has anyone done it before? My company sent me to write ITIL. ITIL foundation V3 is 40 multiple choice questions. The first time I failed by 3, 2nd time I failed by 1 mark. (passing is 65%, I got 63%). I called the college that provided me with the exam and were told that I can email them and someone will get back to me. I don't want to take another work day off to write the exam and deal with all the hassles of studying, I know the ITIL lifecycle a lot better then my coworkers who only wrote it one time & passed.

On what grounds are you disputing the results? Just because you came really close? I'd expect the reply to be for you to try again. If your colleagues can pass with less knowledge than you then I'd expect you have no leg to stand on.

ITIL v3 is very very specific and I've heard people are having trouble passing v3. Compared to foundations v2 which was a lot of common sense and the exam was pretty easy.
I don't think it's worth appealing, it's multiple choice not really much wiggle room with MC exams.

There are ITIL bootcamps, v2-v3 bridge courses and a 3 day foundations course.....perhaps you should try one of those.
