Hey guys. I been interested in buying some Raptor Tickets however im unsure if the tickets are real or not.

Can someone enlighten me on what to look for when purchasing tickets from people? (meeting them up personally)

Are counterfeit tickets common in the RFD marketplace?

Are there like special markings? holograms? stamps?

Please help me out

Thanks

The thing with Raptor tickets is that there is no ticket "standard" to look for, so unfortunately its difficult to spot fake tickets from real tickets.

From the get go, make sure the correct date and teams are on the tickets ... seating numbers.
Even the amount / original face value of the tickets should be on them as well, though this may get complicated when you try to figure out what the TicketMaster / Building Fees are as well ...

Besides that, I think there's a bit of responsibility on both parts to show that these are real tickets. Tell the seller your worried that they might be fake and depending on what they offer, you should be satisfied through that.
Take a contact number and name, as long with a Driver's License or some form of I.D. Take an address or license plate, meet them at the game (if its close enough) and walk up to the door ...

I've both bought and sold tickets here on RFD and haven't run into any problems, but again ... we're on the internet, anything goes.
