we did this in bio practical. Wanted to see how crickets mate. Put 2 males and one female, the males fought for the right to mate with the female. Fun stuff.

Apparently so, what is even more bizare is water striders. According to my prof, if you throw a stick about the size of a water strider into a pond, males with "mate" with it.

I find it very cruel.
Just because they have shells and not fur, doesn't mean these insects don't deserve any respect.

It's like how would you feel if we threw you in a cage with Tyson and after you got beat up badly, we posted it on youtube for people to see?

I find some insects have less disadvantage for ex. how the hell can the tarantulas take down a scorpion when it has like a stinger and a trantulas doesnt?

edit: and match 28 wasnt even a fight, the smaller bug had no weapons, it just got owned

scorpion had an unfair advantage. I thought crayfish (that blue lobster) live in water? lets see how good scorpion would do submerged in water.
