This is a little complicated but here goes...
I need to find work but I unfortunately have no previous experience and have not graduated high school.
The complicated part is that I currently have some health problems that are making me fairly weak and have a overall lack of energy.
Either way medication isn't free so I have to get some sort of income in the meantime while I sort things out.
Any suggestions?
I know there isn't going to be a whole lot but I have to do something.

Have you tried telemarketing?
Also, have you thought of call answering services such as pizza pizza uses? (they have independant contractors sitting at home taking phone orders).
As for your meds, I have to assume here that you're living at home and if so, your folk's health plan should cover the majority of the costs of your meds....
If not, or you're in a financial situation where you cannot afford meds you might look into social services. I know many who get sh*tloads of money from the government for all kinds of things for basically doing nothing.....

Thanks for the info, I will definitely check those out.
About medications I am no longer covered by my parent's insurance.
There's no way I would go on disability or anything though, I may be limited in what I can do physically but I can still work.

For the record I admire your dignity but the HRDC does offer a TON of programs for teens starting their own business etc.
I'd go to their website and find out what they offer.......
Here's a story for you: I worked for a large corporation for 17 yrs and paid UIC every week. When I was laid off (downsizing) I worked under contract for a supplier for 2 months. After it was over I went to the HRDC for benefits and was told I wasn't entitled because the last job I had was a contract position. When I said up until then, I was regularly employed for 17 yrs and paid that whole time they said 'too bad, I should have come to them before taking the contract job...."

If you have been seeing a family doctor regularly they can give you a letter to the effect that says you need welfare drug benefits. Then you walk over to the welfare office and apply for a drug card with his letter.
I say regularly because if you ask a new doctor for the letter they might cringe and think you are out to scam social services. Having a history with a family doctor helps a lot...even 6 months worth.

Are all of those "work from home" things a scam?
I'm just wondering since it seems like it would have the least amount of stress.

The pizza pizza things at home are not work at home scams.
But i think everyone here is misunderstanding you.
You can work office jobs, but you can't do any warehouse jobs, right?
You should be able to find some entry level office jobs.
Also, go to your local YMCA which help job seekers find jobs, and sometimes finds the jobs for you.
Here is the link for location http://www.ymcatoronto.org/en/find-ymca/toronto/scarborough/employment-centres/scarborough-erc.html
Just pick up the phone and call them.

If you see any website, book, "program", newspaper ad, etc...that are "work from home", then yes, they are scams.
When in doubt, come here on RFD and ask.

Well, if you can't afford you medication the government should have programs where it is cheaper or free or as someone here said social services should help.
Even if you do not get any money from social services you can still get a drug card if they think you need one.
I know that because a couple years ago I had a few prescriptions and could not afford to fill them- one was more than a thousand dollars a month.
Anyway, I ended up getting a drug card, but no money as I was in school and working..but they considered my situation "catastrophic" or something like that....
Also, if you go to a medical clinic they can usually give you samples of any prescriptions you need, but u will probably have to come back every week to get more samples....but it would be "free" at least.
I don't know what you can do for a job, but check the government websites for drug plan info maybe...

Here's a link for the program. http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/pub/drugs/trillium.html
The financial assessment is per family for you may not qualify if you leave with your parents and the earn a certain amount relative too your medication cost.
Remember there's a deductible. If I got a dime for everytime I explain the quarterly deductible.....
