Anyone have any suggestions for Orlando dining? No real budget right now just looking for peoples' suggestions.

I was in Orlando in November and found this very nice Italian chain called Macaroni Grille. It's not expensive, probably similar prices to the Olive Garden but the food is far superior, IMHO. We loved it so much we went back 3 times. Excellent pastas.

There is another very nice Italian restaurant called Carrabba's, also a chain. EXCELLENT food. There are of course all the nice US chains such as TGIF, Ruby Tuesdays etc.

If you're looking for a good chain restaurant, Cheesecake Factory is pretty good. It's at the Millenia Mall. You can walk around while you wait for your table (you'll get a pager).

Also went to a steakhouse there called Charley's (also a chain but smaller, I think). It was pretty good and prices were not bad. We got the hotel concierge to make the reservation for us and they comp'd us a huge plate of desserts.

Both of these places have decent food (relative to similar restaurants) and the portions are ginormous. Try to share where possible if you don't want leftovers.
