best way to approach for employment as a teller at a bank?

Most banks phased into a web based application now. I know, it sorta sucks cos you can't make that good first impression earlier on. At least that's what TD, CIBC and others told me when I tried.

Maybe you should go in person and butter up the branch manager. Heck, she might even make enough money at the bank to satisfy your need to thoughtless, but yet expensive gifts:

Branch managers dont deal with hiring anymore... All banks have HR that deals with it. So you can only apply online...
