passport to mexico...how long?

hey guys, i know these threeads are probably a dime a dozen....i just submitted my passport to go on break in february...how long do you think it will take to get here? should i have gone in person and submitted it to make it faster?

I've got mine in 6 weeks, it was submitted in person and mailed back to me. I've did it mid August and got the passport first week in Oct. Submit and pickup in person will quicker maybe around 4 weeks or less. Mail in takes the longest, 8-10 weeks or more.

just a note of correction, its not a passport to mexico unless you are applying for a Mexican passport.

on the front page they have up to date wait times on passports.

you should have done the net app & submitted it in person. your screwed.

You don't need a passport to get into Mexico anyways.. so screwed your not

Unless you don't have valid photo id plus birth certificate

I went this past February without one, a couple extra things to sign and some extra rubber stamping the grumpy mexican dude had to do.. but no problems in or out


Also, if your nearing your flight date and still have not received it, you can go in and ask for it to be rushed.. with an extra fee and proof of flight
